UIC – Trinity University USA Partnership Summer Course in Ecology and Conservation
Environmental Science Programme of UIC collaborates with the Trinity University USA to run a summer course with credit points aiming to educate the students of both institutions about the ecology and bioconservation in China. Trinity University, located in San Antonio, Texas, USA, is a prestigious liberal arts university. The summer course uses Zhuhai and the Greater Bay Area as the model for learning and permits active interactions between the students of both institutions. It is the first course in UIC to be run in this mode, and is a featured and highly-regarded course of the Environmental Science Programme.

Summer Research Programme at Trinity University, USA
Environmental Science Programme of UIC also partners with the Trinity University, USA to offer a summer research programme that offers students an all-round experience of ‘scientific research x immersion x cultural exchange’. The science laboratory of Trinity University has been rated by Princeton Review as first class in the USA. Students participating in the programme will undergo a summer exchange at Trinity University for one month and will take part in research projects leading to poster presentations at the completion of the projects. This highly regarded exchange programme is beneficial in academic development, internationalization and cross-cultural networking of the students.

Summer Environmental Course at Lancaster University, UK
Lancaster University is a world-class research university, constantly ranked as the top 10 universities in the UK. It has one of the earliest environment center in the UK and has world-leading academic standard. Prof. Kevin Jones, a renowned professor of Lancaster University has been appointed as the honorary professor of UIC’s Environmental Science Programme. He has visited UIC in several occasions to share his academic and research insights. Furthermore, students have the opportunity to join the summer environmental course offered by Lancaster Environment Centre.
