Dr Hu Yu, co-founder of intelligent speech and artificial intelligence publicly-listed company iFLYTEK, came to UIC on 29 September and gave a lecture on the origin, current research, and development prospects of artificial intelligence. Dr Hu Yu is also the chief expert of the human intelligence key project of the National High-tech R&D Programme of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the executive director of the National Engineering Laboratory for Speech and Language Information Processing.
