Internship is a very important part of students’ education. It provides an opportunity for them to put what they have learned in classroom to practice, and gives them a taste of what it is like in the workplace. Successful internship experiences will enrich students’ profile and may also lead to future career prospects. FST encourages students to participate in internships before they graduate.
The Faculty has established partnership with a number of companies, such as Guangdong Inspection and Quarantine Technology Center, China National Analytical Center (Guangzhou), Zhongrun Green Ecological Environment Group (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd, to assist students in their search for internship. Students can also take up part-time internship during the semester or full-time summer internship in campus to work as interns for different departments of BNBU, or research assistants for professors. Students may also obtained internship opportunities from BNBU’s Career Development Office (CDO), professors, or their own family connections. According to the survey conducted in November 2020 for the Class of 2021, 317 out of 419 FST Year 4 students participated in one or more internships before graduation.
