UIC's Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) organised the 11th Science & Technology Poster Presentation on 12 April 2023.

A total of 88 research papers conducted by undergraduates and postgraduates from eight programmes were on display and a number of experts and scholars from academia and industry were invited to serve as judges, sharing insights with students and teachers.

UIC President, Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Fellow of the European Academy of Sciences Prof Tang Tao attended the event.

He said that UIC focuses on developing students' practical application skills, and the Presentation was a platform for students of FST to showcase their academic achievements and research skills as well as a channel for departments to communicate with each other.

Associate Vice President (Internationalization) and Dean of FST Prof Pan Jianxin said that the papers covered a wide range of academic fields with in-depth analysis, and he hoped students could strengthen their skills and gain exciting experience during their research.

Awards and winners this year

Winners of the Best Poster Award by Faculty (undergraduate) Lin Runsheng, Xing Zihan and Ma Mingze expressed their gratitude to their supervisor Dr Raymond Lee for helping them locate their research focus and providing guidance. They also thanked UIC and FST for providing such an opportunity to learn from other people.

Huang Junhao and Zhao Haosong are the winners of The Best Poster Award by Faculty (postgraduate). They said thanks to Dr Chen Donglong's instructions and sharing, they managed to catch up with the latest scientific progress and complete the project.
