Symposium on Experimental Design

As an important field of statistics, the Experimental Design is the laying out of a detailed experimental plan in advance of doing the experiment. It helps people to compare and estimate the effects of the different treatments on the response variable. During the period from Dec. 28th to Dec. 30th, a Symposium on Experimental Design will be organized by Statistics Programme and Prof. Fang Kai-Tai, Professor in Statistics Programme of DST. Prof. Fang Kai-Tai (The pioneer of Uniform Design), Prof. Tang Yu (Professor in School of Mathematical Sciences, Soochow University), Dr. Ma Chang Xing (Associate Professor in Department of Biostatistics, University at Buffalo), Dr. Elsawah (Assistant Professor in Statistics Programme of DST, UIC) and some M.Phil and undergraduate students in Statistics Programme will give talks about their recent research in the field of Experimental Design.

All staff and students are warmly welcome to join this symposium. The venue is T2-202 and the schedule is as follows.
