Are you interested in genetics, international health, bioinformatics, or epidemiology? The Master of Science in Biostatistics at Georgetown University provides integrated training in computational, quantitative, and biomedical sciences to support health-related research performed in academia, government, and industry. Students acquire the quantitative and computational tools that underpin epidemiology and bioinformatics and gain substantive exposure to applications of these tools to biological and health sciences. The Biostatistics programme trains individuals who focus on data-analysis and informatics tools and exploit databases for broad-based biomedical information. Top employers include the Henry Jackon Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, the Institute for Genome Sciences at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Pharmaceutical Product Development, Inc., and the Walter Reed National Military Center.
Applications for the Masters of Science Programme in Biostatistics are open in Fall 2014. The application deadline is 15 May 2014.
