UIC recognised the excellent achievements of four teachers and acknowledged the commitment of 41 long-serving staff members at a ceremony on 23 February.
Dr Yi-lung Kuo (Assistant Professor of Applied Psychology, DST), Dr Edoardo Monaco (Director and Assistant Professor of Government and International Relations, DHSS), and Dr Ying May Wang (Assistant Professor of Applied Economics, DBM) received the President’s Award for Teaching and Service.

In addition, a total of 40 staff members were presented the Long Service Award for their decade-long loyalty and dedication.

In his speech, UIC President Ng Ching-Fai extended his congratulations and gratitude to the awardees for their contributions to UIC, adding that with their dedication and enthusiasm, “we can continue to scale new heights” in UIC’s second decade.

UIC launched two types of President’s Awards for academic staff for Teaching and Service in 2015, as well as for Research in 2016. In 2015, the first recipients of the Long Service Award were honoured.
