Students of the Computer Science and Technology are offered opportunities to engage in research throughout their undergraduate years. The students complete the research tasks assigned to them by their supervising professors. The research tasks may comprise collecting data, performing literature review and conducting experimental work. Besides, final year students undertake compulsory final year projects (FYP1) during which they plan and conduct their scientific studies, as well as report the findings of their studies through theses and presentations. Students interested to further refine their research skills can opt for FYP2 which provides a channel to make their research findings publishable in scientific journals.
