Abstract:
AI is an important area that has been continuously growing during the past decade and has been successfully applied to a broad spectrum of commercial applications. This presentation will showcase novel AI algorithms and methodologies for several emerging application domains, including smart manufacturing, autonomous driving, data-driven marketing and fraud detection. Technical challenges, proposed solutions and future directions will be discussed and supported by successful case studies from commercial applications.
About the speaker:
Prof. Li received his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2005. He is a Professor in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Duke University and is leading the Institute of Applied Physical Sciences and Engineering and Data Science Research Center at Duke Kunshan University. Prof. LI is a fellow of IEEE and the Deputy Editor-in Chief of IEEE TCAD. Prof. LI was the General Chair of ISVLSI and FAC and served as an Associate Editor for several IEEE and ACM journals. His research interests include integrated circuit, signal processing and data analytics.
