The programme curriculum provides students with a solid foundation in Applied Mathematics. Together with the ability for self-learning, graduates of this programme should be able to equip themselves with sufficient knowledge in the areas of mathematical sciences. It is anticipated that 70% of graduates will pursue post-graduate studies in STEM fields. For students pursuing industrial careers, major industries that seek applied math graduates include: financial, computer sciences, actuarial/insurance, aerospace, pharmaceutical, consulting, education, manufacturing, etc.
