On August 31, 2024, the first batch of 62 students from the Master's programme in Sustainable Energy Technology and Management at UIC, along with their course instructors, participated in a grand opening ceremony. They joined about 1,200 other 2024 Master's students from our university to listen to the president's message, share food, and establish a good start for the upcoming year of study.
Subsequently, Dr. WANG Zijian (fifth from the left in the front row), the programme director of the Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Technology and Management, invited Dr. Choi Wing Hong (sixth from the left in the front row), the associate programme director of Green Technology (Energy) from Hong Kong Baptist University, to give a speech. Dr. Choi congratulated the programme on its successful start and provided the students with a detailed introduction to the academic systems of both sides. He encouraged the students to study hard, cherish this precious year, and expressed his hope that the students would shine brightly in the new energy industry in the future.
Dr. WANGs Zijian then invited all the course instructors, including Dr. TSIM Siu Tai (fourth from the left in the front row), the deputy head of the Life Sciences programme at UIC, Dr. Zheng Mo (seventh from the left in the front row), an assistant professor in this programme, and Dr. Ge Mingming (eighth from the left in the front row), to introduce themselves to the students.
